Do I need permits?
Yes, a gorilla trekking permit is required and must be secured well in advance. We recommend booking these as early as possible.
How do I arrive?
We are accessible by road from Kampala or Kigali, or via a domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip. We can provide recommendations for private drivers.
What is the weather?
It is a high-altitude rainforest. Mornings are cool, and rain is possible year-round. Pack light layers and a good waterproof jacket.
